Welcome to Leslie's bathroom reveal! You can read all about the before (and how I met my pal Leslie here) What I thought would take a few weekends is finally finished the first weekend in March! And I think it turned out pretty darn good. Leslie certainly seems very happy with it. And, I have to admit I am a little jealous of that claw foot tub. I think I see a project in the future for Tim. This little room has gone from dated and dark, to really kind of ... continue reading...

Bathroom reveal
If a quick freshening up of the bathroom has taken me a month, I can't imagine how long it is going to take me to do a complete renovation!? This is our only bathroom. It measures just over 5' by 6', so it is the size of an average powder room or half bath! It gets a work out given that we have two daughters! I stayed well within my budget and I am very pleased with the outcome. If you remember, it looked like this....... We had just started to take ... continue reading...
Freshening Up The Bathroom for Spring!
It is that time of year when I get the urge to bring our home out of hibernation with some bright colours, fresh flowers and a good cleaning! I had picked up a pretty new shower curtain, some hot pink ranunculus at the market, and a couple of bright fresh new towels. All for under $30! ... continue reading...
Leslie’s Screen Porch Reveal
I'm sure the anticipation has been driving you batty! Wait no more. Leslie's screen porch reveal is finally here! The build itself went really quickly. It was the waiting for the weather to cooperate. We were given strict orders when we bought the paint not to paint when it was too hot. And of course that is when the humidity kicked into high gear. Lots of hours and hard work went into this project, but I think you will agree it was well worth it! You can ... continue reading...
Not So Patiently waiting! (A bathroom update)
For those of you who might be wondering what is going on with Leslie's bathroom renovation progress, I can give you a bit of an update! While major progress has been made, we are not so patiently waiting for one key piece to arrive from Home Depot. This piece to be exact..... Pretty, isn't it! This, of course, is the tub faucet. It has the diverter to allow us to install a shower head and hoop shower curtain rod. We ordered it from Home Depot in ... continue reading...

One of my very good friends Leslie is in desperate need of an update for her small bathroom and I am excited and honored that she has asked me to help her with it! You may remember the small bathroom makeover I did at our house early last year. You can read about it here. Well, Leslie lives just a few doors down and has the same small bathroom ... continue reading...
