It is always fun to look back and reflect on the past year. Here is a quick look at the top 5 posts (in no particular order) of 2014 at Red Cottage Chronicles!
Toblerone Shortbread is one of my first posts but is always popular, especially around the holiday’s! It is a simple shortbread cookie with a chunk of Toblerone baked right in. It really does melt in your mouth!
The Outdoor Harvest Table was another popular post. Since building this one for my mom, Tim has built one for me and has gifted one to my sister for Christmas, which he will build when we go to their summer home in PEI in July. It will be perfect on their deck overlooking the bay. They get some pretty heavy winds blow through there sometimes and this table will certainly stay put, not to mention seat the crowds that often gather for dinner!
Another project courtesy of Tim was the buffet table he built for our dining room. I love it as much today as the day he built it!
This Luscious Lemon Mousse is another popular post this year.
And rounding out the top 5 are these Lemon Lavender Squares! This recipe comes from Country Living Magazine (which, by the way, is my absolute favorite magazine)! It was also the post where I started practicing manual focus!!
