Heart of Hospitality and a Winner

Whenever I thought of hospitality I would break out in a cold sweat!  How is it possible to show my hospitality to guests when we live in such a small house.  I knew I wanted to make them feel at home and welcome, but all I could think about was how nothing worked in my small little space.

I don’t know Edie really, except that I know she is a passionate woman.  Passionate about Christ, about life, about her family and about her (well really all of our) ability to practice hospitality daily, with heart!

I am so happy that she has published an e-book called 31 Days to a Heart of Hospitality! Written with grace and wisdom Edie touches on the logical pointers for hospitality such as cooking for those your love, but takes it well beyond that.  She hit the nail on the head when she said……

Hospitality isn’t about inviting people into our perfect homes, it’s about inviting them into our imperfect hearts.

I highly recommend that you  pop over to Life in Grace where Edie writes from the heart and will leave you feeling refreshed and renewed after every visit! Read about her e-book journey and for a mere $5.00 you will be taken on your own journey of finding your heart of hospitality!

It will change they way you think about not only inviting people into your home, but also about hospitality towards those who already live there!

Edie has offered a link to share with a friend, a copy of 31 Days to a Heart of Hospitality!

If you are interested in receiving this link, please send me a message through the contact link at the top of the page.  I will forward the link to the first person to contact me!

The Winner of the Starbucks gift card, picked by Random.org from 23 entries, is Lori from A Bright and Beautiful Life!

I have sent you an email Lori!

Hey. I won. I’m so excited. Thanks, Maureen. I’m just now reading your post and I saw my name at the end of it. I don’t think I’ve received an email from you though. I’m going to check out the ebook. It sounds like it could be life changing in helping me to love others better. Thanks for telling us about it.
