Spiced Citrus Apple Cider

  • 1 saucepan

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups apple cider
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ cup fresh squeezed orange juice
  • ¼ cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2-3 cinnamon sticks (3 inches long)
  • 1 teaspoon whole cloves

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring until brown sugar is dissolved. Reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes. Remove from heat and strain into a heatproof pitcher or another saucepan. Discard cloves and cinnamon sticks. Allow to cool slightly to a comfortable drinking temperature.
  • Pour into heat proof mugs and garnish with citrus slices and fresh cinnamon sticks.
