Easy Taco Pizza Made on Naan Bread

A quick and flavourful taco pizza made with naan bread for an easy crust. Loaded with seasoned beef, melted cheese, and fresh toppings, it’s perfect for busy weeknights or casual dinners.

Equipment

  • 1 large frying pan
  • cheese grater
  • chefs knife for chopping
  • measuring cups and spoons

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning mix
  • 4 individual sized Naan bread
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 3 cups freshly shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 medium tomato, chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400℉. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Brown ground beef in a large frying pan over medium heat until fully cooked. Add taco seasoning and ¾ cup water. Bring to boil then reduce heat and simmer for 3 minutes. Remove from heat
  • Spread each Naan bread with ¼ cup of tomato sauce. Top with ¾ cup shredded cheese. Divide ground meat mixture between 4 pizzas, spooning it over the cheese. Bake at 400 ℉ for 5 to 7 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly. Remove from oven.
  • Top cooked pizzas with shredded lettuce and chopped tomato and serve. SEE VARIATIONS BELOW

Notes

Make ahead - you can make the taco meat a day or two ahead of time and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator until ready to use.
Addition topping options:  black olives, sour cream, crumbled tortilla chips, salsa are just a few options.
